Today let us hold in our hearts this message from the Bible:
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.James 1:17 NIV
This brings to my mind how truly blessed we are, for our Father has given us the wonderful gift of mercy and grace through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, what a perfect gift. With this great message, today in our hearts let us pray,
Our Father in heaven, Holy is your name, You are the creator, the Everlasting Almighty God, by Your Word were the heavens and earth made.
Your will is my compass and my path, Your love is perfect, Your mercy and grace is a wonderful gift that I humbly receive. I give myself to you, my thoughts, my heart, and my soul forever.
Help me to live in light of your grace and will. Keep me on the path you have set for me, and forgive me for the times I have already strayed from you. Humble me when I choose my way over yours and teach me to be forgiving and loving towards everyone I encounter today.
Father, please be near to my family and neighbors who are suffering today, surround them with a loving community and fulfill all their needs. Give them hope in whatever they face. May they recognize that the good and perfect gifts are from you.
Thank you for giving me peace and rest in all times, you are my strength, my healer, redeemer and everlasting Light. I believe, declare, and pray all of this, in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.
